pondering gynecology
There just seems to be something really off with having a guy, other than the beau of the moment, poking around my stash with a cold metal object hoping to find something (pot of gold maybe?).
Why do men even become gynecologists? Are they that enamored by female genitalia that they want to stare at it all day everyday? And what about the wife? Would it dry up from neglect. I would assume that by the time he’s worked his way to his significant other’s hooch he’d be at the edge of the ‘if I see another vagina, I’m going to ________” cliff.
Yes, those are my deep thoughts for the morning. Now it’s time for me to actually go do stuff.

Here from Michele’s! I think it would be hard to be a gynocologists wife…IDK! I wonder what the stats are to being a married gynocologist and a divorced one LOL! I dont know why men want to be one I guess as teens they think it would be awesome to be staring at a vagina all day long but they forget how nasty they can get LOL! Have a great day Love your site! It’s an interesting thing to say on ‘career day’ in a school….that they want to be a gynacologist.

Once upon a time… that was my dream job… But then I started to think about when a lot of women decide to go…. when they have problems… So I decided staring at a bunch of nasty ones wasn’t quite the exciting thing I was looking for….

One of my ex-boyfriends from high school became a gynecologist. I always thought..how appropriate because he was all touchy feely grabby wanting to get in my pants.
I would think because of the nature of the visits, the, um..cootchies would lose their appeal really quickly. I’m pretty sure the gyn’s wife would have nothing to worry about unless her hubby was really some sort of freak.
Funny deep thoughts you have.

Ugh, the trauma. Plus, finding a good one is just a nightmare. So the question remains, what makes WOMEN want to be gynos? Understanding the self better? Lesbian tendencies? A little of both?
Here via Michele. Good morning.

Stopping by to say hello…
One of my favourite clients (and now friend) is married to a gynecologist – when I asked him once why he chose that specialty he replied – why not?
It was and remains a fair answer.
Thank you so much for accepting my comment bribe – I truly do appreciate it! You have a wonderful blog, and therefore I am off to add you to my blogroll – I hope you do not mind.

You have all raised some very valid points…yes, it’s not pretty when women are having problems ‘down there’ and I would suspect those are the worst times to be a gyno – especially a male one…it may make him go jumping out of some closet.
And while I feel more comfortable going to a female gyno (albeit only slightly), I do wonder why they’d want to go into that line of work also…I guess it’s one of those ‘it’s a dirty job, but someone’s gotta do it’ things.
Thank you all for the wonderful compliments, I am glad you are enjoying my very close to being brand spanking new blog .
Michele, you are welcome here any time and I am truly honoured to grace your blog roll – thank you.
